Man seriously hurt in crash

A MAN in his 50s has suffered serious head and spinal injuries in a road accident in Lincolnshire.

The driver, from the Boston area, had to be released from a green Skoda Felicia car after it was in collision with a black Land Rover.

The Skoda driver was taken to Boston's Pilgrim Hospital.

The accident happened on the B1192 Leagate Road, close to the turn off to Bunker's Hill, near Coningsby, this morning.

The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene after the vehicles collided at around 9.40am.

The Land Rover was left on its roof after the incident.

Its driver, a 38-year-old from Tattershall, was able to leave the vehicle after the accident. He suffered minor injuries.
