Road reopens after nine hours

Thursday, November 20, 2008, 07:14

An eight-mile stretch of the A15 north of Lincoln has reopened after it was shut for nine hours because a cement lorry overturned.

The section of the trunk road between Tillbridge Lane and Caenby Corner was shut in both directions.

Diversions were in place through the cliff villages but there was major commuter disruption throughout the morning rush hour.

The driver suffered minor injuries and cranes were used to recover the lorry.
